white and orange fall pumpkins

Fall is my FAVORITE season.  The cooling temperatures, the crisp morning air, the leaves, the pumpkins, the pumpkin pie, I LOVE IT ALL!  I listen to my kids debating over this year’s Halloween costumes and my heart fills. I look around and see mums and pumpkins and falling leaves and I am inspired to cook and bake and clean and decorate.  At night, I close my eyes and conjure up memories from my childhood: my grandfather’s apple orchard, crates upon crates of crisp apples, and eating THE MOST DELICIOUS potatoes baked under a bonfire of fall brush.

As you can imagine, we declare fall at our house the minute the clock strikes midnight on Labor Day.  We want to soak up every last moment of fall before winter comes along.  So, without further ado, I share with you our fall bucket list.  I hope it inspires you to enjoy every moment of this glorious season with your family.
